The world is full of surprises. You can never be too sure of what sounds, sights, smells, or tastes you may encounter. I gather bits of these together and arrange them with a chuckle.
In recent months, inspiration comes from my students: the things they do, and the way they speak, and the expression on their faces when they see dripping pizza slices nestled together in the hot line for dinner. In our little Arizona canyon, life on the outside is a different world, only frequented on weekend shopping excursions and dinner in town.
